Welcome to the website of le Moulin de la Roche, a watermill on the River Erve in the Sarthe department of France

I started the website to try and capture some of the different aspects of our little corner of Paradise. You can follow our move to live permanently in France and the renovation work we have done, in the blog.

I have also begun to record the story of this place, so steeped in history and integral to the life of the area through the centuries. See what I have found so far by clicking on ‘History’ in the menu at the top.
